CHART UPDATES

Along with Flo’Rida and Janet Jackson at #1, Chris Brown is on top with his single “With You” on the Hot 100 Airplay chart. To brighten Chris’ day just a little more, his idol Michael Jackson grabbed a #1 spot on the Top Pop Catalog with his legendary song ‘Thriller’. I think it’s so awesome how MJ still has influence on the music industry today.

Heck yes! Ryan Leslie has a #1 song ‘Diamond Girl’, which as been murdering the radio scene lately. If you don’t know, he’s the super-duper producer behind everything Cassie related and has also worked with other huge names pushing them to number one. But now it’s Ryan’s turn! I’ve always loved his music. To watch him produce songs step by step like the music genius he is is simply amazing! His debut LP ‘Used to Be’ is set to hit stores later this year. This is definitely one of the top albums to wait for on my list.

 NEW BRANDY MATERIAL

Brandy has put out a track on the up and coming Meet the Brown Motion Picture Soundtrack entitled “Dig This”. I’m liking this one. It’s definitely different from her earlier material, but I have come to like it. I’m not sure how much radio play this song with gain, but it’s sure to be played a bit if she makes a video for it (hint, hint to Brandy!)
