Weezy gets his Gym Class Heroes on

Lil Wayne at Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans, LA

Lil Wayne performed Saturday at the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans — just after announcing the birth of his son, Dwayne Carter III. Liking the kicks and flannel. Not sure about the shorts yet though.

Props to CL for the photo. Must get that Wireimage account.

Does anyone have…

The new G1 Google/Android phone?

HTC G1 T-Mobile Google Android Phone

I gotta admit, the Android interface is pretty sexy. The phone looks a little wack to me, so I think I’ll be waiting on the next Android phone to drop (should be soon). *Preparing myself to ditch the iPhone*

Clearly Soulja Boy isn’t affected by the economy…

Soulja Boy’s video for his new single, “Turn My Swag On,” features the hip-pop superstar waking up in a bed covered in Gucci sheets and blows his nose with 100-dollar bills. He definitely doesn’t have funds invested in the stock market. Soulja Boy’s new album, iSouljaBoyTellEm hits stores December 16.

Will you be copping the new album? Post your comments.

It’s official: Beyoncé is BACK!

You could kill this: Giant iPod Headphone Speakers

This sounds mad confusing…but just look at the picture and you’ll get it. Speakers that look like giant iPod headphones. This is dope. Kinda reminscent of something Kanye posted on his blog a few days back…

Wanna know more? Cop them for $40 at Urban Outfitters.

NEW MUSIC VIDEO: JAZMINE SULLIVAN- “BUST YOUR WINDOWS”

This is one of my favorite tracks off Jazmine Sullivan’s debut, Fearless. The second single, “Bust Your Windows,” is an ode to women (and men, I guess?) fed up with dealing with their partners’ shenanigans. The production is eery and forceful. I love it. My only complaint: Jazmine didn’t actually bust any car windows in this video. Is there a round 2 coming?

ON THE SCENE: N.E.R.D., NAS, AND OTHERS IN NYC FOR SMIRNOFF EVENT

N.E.R.D., Nas, Grandmaster Flash, Dizzee Rascal, and Spank Rock hit up the Bowery Hotel in NYC to announce tonight’s “Smirnoff Experience New York” event in NYC. According to Smirnoff, the event is “the fourth in a global series of original nightlife events. The private event will feature musical collaborations from the star-studded line-up of established and emerging urban artists, as well as unique drinking experiences for a truly unforgettable evening.”

KilledThat.com photographer Joanna Cohen hit up the conference to snap some quick candid photos for the site. Peep below:

Video: Common- “Universal Mind Control”

Still not sold on the song. The video didn’t really help. Really hoping this album’s gonna be dope.

2 Reasons Why You Should Care About Louis Vuitton’s Damier Graphite Line

Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Sneakers and iPhone Case

Alright, our economy is in the shithole. That said, it’s often hard to justify–I don’t know–a $250 scrap of leather to protect your precious new iPhone 3G or any pair of shoes over $100. But wait. There are two exceptions.

1). As pictured above, Louis Vuitton’s fly Damier Graphite Sneakers ($595) will impress just about everyone in the urban-hipster NY scene. The “checkers” are subtle enough so you don’t feel trashy rocking anything blatantly LV, yet easily identifiable as a high-end LV product. Not going to lie, it looks like the good folks at Louis V took some notes from our Parisian friends, Lanvin. The shape of the shoe, laces, and even front resemble a pair I just purchased a few weeks ago at Barney’s for $630. Which pair’s hotter? That’s up for you to decide.

2). Also pictured above, LV returns to the scene with a new iPhone case. Thank the lord. (semi-sarcastic) The first two cases the company introduced were severely flawed. The first was the classic monogram canvas style, which means a). it looks fake and b). in my opinion, is just plain ugly. The second, dubbed “taiga leather” felt like plain plastic, and was maybe a little to understated for my willing-to-spend-$250-to-protect-something-that-costs-$199 self. Well, look no further. The new Damier Graphite iPhone Case ($250) satisfies both your need to look fly without looking classy, as well as your desire to protect your baby iPhone from scratches and smudges

Both products are available online at eLuxury or at your local Louis Vuitton boutique.
