Don Cannon has co-signed this promising young Duke University student, Mike Posner, who is the mastermind producer behind many of Island Def Jam artist Big Sean’s songs. Posner released his first mixtape, “A Matter Of Time,” in late February which has been getting a lot of attention. Check out his dope remake of Beyonce’s hit single “Halo.” Definitely not the most obvious choice for a cover, but check it out and you’ll see why we love it at KilledThat…

Why do you think people hate on him though? Could it be that he signed a complete flop - Q Da Kidd - to Tag Records at Island Def Jam and subsequently lost his executive position? Maybe the fact that he used to video blog from his consumptive ass jet in Dubai while the rest of the world was hurting in a recession? Or maybe the fact that he’s STILL co-signing Bow Wow who sucks? Honestly I don’t even care, I just thought you’d get some satisfaction out of hearing JD’s “lyrical” rant
