Kanye rocks what looks like a varsity-meets-bomber jacket from his forthcoming Pastelle clothing brand, set to drop sometime next year. Fly.
If you remember, Kanye was caught wearing a Pastelle jacket this past July in Paris. Here’s a shot of the piece:

You gotta admit, this bow-tie is fly. I’m adding this to my wishlist.
I’m guessing the piece being advertised here is the rather plain looking collar-less jacket.

And somehow got Lil Wayne to star on Cassie’s new single “Official Girl” (Which, by the way, she stole from Def Jam’s Karina). We all know why Lil Wayne got involved though… “I’m about to get a lot more female fans from this,” the man-of-the-month admits at the end of the video below:
Ahh, don’t we all love Nas. He’s without a doubt the dopest rapper out right now keeping hip-hop alive. He’s finally launched his official blog/site www.NasIndependenceDay.com which I recommend you guys all check out. His new untitled album drops July 15, 2008. Here’s a trailer for his new single, “Hero,” produced by Polow Da Don.

I had the pleasure to do my first interview with an artist of intelligent words. Ace Hood is a newly signed artist to DJ Khaled’s label We The Best Music. His debut single ‘Cash Flow’ has been murdering mainstream radio and he refuses to stop there.
Q: To start off, tell me about where you grew up.
Ace: Well you know, I’m from St. Lucia. Grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida ya know. That was my home or my city for like 14 plus years.
Q: How did your childhood influence your music?
Ace: Well in my childhood I didn’t grow up with my original father, so my step father- he took place of his position or what not. My real father was a part of music as well. He was part of a band and my step father was part of a band as well. The pretty much inspired me. They inspired me coming up. Ya know. Do what I do. They was always supporting me to do it. So I might as well have pursued it like that.

Lil Mama just shot the video for her fourth single, “What It Is (Strike A Pose)” with T-Pain. And as they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Teddy Penderassdown isn’t the only artist Lil Mama stuck with for this single; R. Malcom Jones, who shot her past three videos, also directed “What It Is.” Peep more photos and listen to the song after the cut.
