porte monnaie chalk wallet

Check out the Porte Monnaie Chalk Wallet

Porte Monnaie are the makers of original wallets, comprising innovative and traditional materials in a unique design of minimalist style. Natural, locally sourced russet leather and the paper-like tactility of flash spun high density polyethylene form the back bone of a Porte Monnaie wallet.

The dyes used to colour and decorate Porte Monnaie wallets are natural making it completely recyclable without compromising on quality or style. Hand made in London by craftsmen, and packaged and delivered with care.

This is an exclusive style to oki-ni and won’t be available anywhere else… It’s a ‘chalk’ colourway with grey distress markings. This wallet measures approximately 4.5” x 4” when closed and 8” in length when opened out.

You read that right…the wallet folds out!!

You would kill this Volume 2: Motorola Calgary Cell Phone (Releasing on Verizon Wireless in ‘09)

Motorola Calgary Phone for Verizon Wireless

If the Apple iPhone isn’t your thing… or you’re against the Blackberry Bold because you hate AT&T (I do too, but still made that sacrifice to cop the two aforementioned phones), then lookie here what we have in store for you: the Motorola Calgary Cell Phone, scheduled for a 2009 release on our favorite carrier, Verizon Wireless. This phone is in a whole new league of its own. While we don’t have specs on it just yet, it looks like it features both a touch screen and a tactile keyboard, all in one sexy titanium package. No word on pricing either, but considering our current recession and Motorola’s drastically fading market share, I’m going to guess this’ll drop at $149. Time will tell…

More information on the Motorola Calgary @ BGR.

I knew this was about to happen…

Jean Paul Gaultier's Special Edition Evian Bottle

I definitely saw this one coming: DESIGNER WATER. It seems a lot of people these days feel the need to flaunt their wealth in any way possible. $255 Goyard Card Cases, $7000 Vertu Flip Phones, $200 Boxers, you name it. I feel you can justify some of these purchases if you prefer quality products, or you just need a telecommunications device that has some gold in it. But designer water??? Come on guys. Fiji’s pretentious enough as it is. Not sure on what a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Evian will cost, but one thing’s for sure: you will look like the ultimate tool with one of these.

What do you think Evian will charge for one of these bottles? Post your thoughts in the comments.

KILLED THAT: FLUD BOOMBOX WATCH

Boombox Watch

I just found this crazy new boom box watch at Sweet Kicks.

“The “Boombox Watch” by Flud, the creator of the “Turntable Watch”, combines retro with hip and puts it right on your wrist. The time is revealed on a LED-red screen and the watch features some great detailing on the boom box.”

The boombox watch is available for $120 at KarmaLoop.

THIS IS FLY: iPod Mixer for the Novice DJ

iPod DJ Mixer

Ever wanted to experience what goes on behind the DJ booth, but didn’t have the desire to learn scratching techniques? Is your interest in DJing not serious enough to justify dropping $800 on Serato and a mixing station? No worries. Meet the self-proclaimed iPod DJ Mixer.

For just $120, you get a complete mixing board with two adjustable connectors for iPods and a “Spin Knob” that simulates the scratching of vinyls on turntables.

I just placed my order and will have to write a follow-up review. Until then, cop your own iPod Mixer at Urban Outfitters.

Would you cop this? Meet the iPod Boombox

iPod Boombox | KilledThat.comThis nifty ’80s retro boombox is an iPod dock in disguise. This means you can carry this thing around and blast your iPhone playlists while everyone else thinks you’re spinning out-of-date compact discs. For $220, would you cop this? To purchase: www.UrbanOutfitters.comEDIT: If you care, I found the same boombox at Buy.com for $50 cheaper.

DO YOU FUXWID: PASTRY APPAREL?

Pastry Kicks Shoes Sneakers Apparel Simmons Girls

Hey all, and welcome to our first edition of Fuxwid. We’re going to throw out a topic and ask the Killed That audience if you–well–fuxwid it. What does “fuxwid” mean? Say it in your head (or aloud if no one’s around) and you’ll probably understand. If you still don’t get it, when you “fuxwid” something, you approve of it. You believe in it, and you agree with it.

So for round one, we’re going to ask you about Pastry Apparel. We know you’ve all seen Run’s House (or at least a lot of you have), and we want to know what you think about the cute Simmons girls’ sneaker and clothing line. Check the photo above for pictures of bags, jeans, and shoes that the girls are currently selling. More info can be found at http://www.pastrykicks.com.

After you’ve done your research, post your verdict in the comments section: do you fuxwid Pastry or not?
