I gotta admit, the Android interface is pretty sexy. The phone looks a little wack to me, so I think I’ll be waiting on the next Android phone to drop (should be soon). *Preparing myself to ditch the iPhone*
“Shoot Me Down” featuring D. Smith. I’m going to agree with ‘Ye on this one. Once you get past the Lollipop/Milli/Got Money single shit, this is the illest track on Tha Carter III. I’d say the runner up is “3 Peat.” That used to be my shit until I played it 30 times in a row two days ago. I’m now on a break from 3-Peat.
P.S. I’m sure you guys heard already, but Weezy pulled through with more than 1 million sales of Tha Carter III in the first week of his sales. Holy shit, I saw this pulling in 400k max. I guess I’m bugging.
P.P.S. Hottest line from “Shoot Me Down” — “I ain’t kinda hot, I’m sauna.” I know that sounds retarded but play it 39 seconds into it and you’ll be impressed by dude’s swag.
When I first made my daily raid through some blogs today and caught glimpse of Beyonce and Lil’ Wayne doing a remix to Usher’s already smoking hit ‘Love in This Club’, my stomach churned. I could just imagine the hot, ghetto mess Beyonce and Wayne would try and turn this song into. Not to my surprise, they did. And I hated it. This shouldn’t even be called a damn ‘remix’ of the original song! It’s completely different!
I know everyone’s going to be on my back about this one because Wayne’s on the track, but there’s no excuse. Why take such a good song and dramatically change the feel and concept with the strangest combo of people out there and call it a damn remix? As you can see, I’m pissed. Also, am I the only one tired of this whole ‘Part II’ and ‘Chapter II’ crap? I’m sorry, but R. Kelly kind of finished that concept off.
Listen: Usher feat. Lil’ Wayne & Beyonce- “Love In This Club” (Remix) (MP3)
I know you have something to say, so leave a comment with your opinion on the remix. Like it? Hate it? Let me know!
I’m really feeling this song. It’s obviously one of those laid back summer hits, so inherently the lyrics aren’t uber-deep. What do you think? Could this be this summer’s Gym Class Heroes?
Unless you’re from New York City (and even then…you never know), you probably have no idea who the hell Ron Browz is.
Let me enlighten you.
He’s riding the DJ Webstar road to fame. He’s been putting out teen-focused party hits for the past few years, but unfortunately, none have really caught on. He produced Nas’s “Ether,”50 Cent’s “Whip Yo Head Boy,” and Remy Ma’s comeback single, “Fresh,” as well.
He also collaborated with DJ Webstar on his album, but unfortunately that album sold about 400 copies so you still probably wouldn’t have heard of him.
So let’s give the man a shot…here’s a Killed That exclusive: Ron Browz’ “Million Dollars.” Hot –or– NOT?
