Killed That presents what we think will be the HOTTEST record for early 09 - DeX!’s spanish-mambo-meets-pop-and-B record, “Mentirosa.” Courtesy of Young & Rich Entertainment.
It seems like girls that get “tipsy but never get too drunk” are the target audience of pop-R&B singer Justin Timberlake’s latest hip-pop swoon, “If I,” feauturing T.I.
First the “Can’t Believe It” remix… now this record. It seems J.T. is back with a new album! I think it’s going to be near impossible for him to beat the genius that is FutureSex/LoveSounds, and this song reaffirms my point. The beat is a little to simple…not melodic enough, and I hate to admit that I’m sick of T.I. and JT collabos by now. Get back to the drawing board, Justin, and bring Timbaland with you!
As I was flying home from LA to NY for Christmas vacation, I ran into this girl who started talking to be about her obsession with Lil Wayne. Yeah, I’ve heard that a million times. But she also revealed that she had yet to hear Weezy’s The Dedication 3 mixtape. Now…to be honest, it’s by no means a classic, but STILL–to proclaim yourself as a diehard Lil Wayne fan, you MUST keep up with his mixtapes. Without futher ado…for those of you audio slackers…here’s The Dedication 3.

No streaming on this one cuz I just found out Asian audio sites are hotlinking my MP3s and blowing out my servers. Ahhhh the global information age we live in…
It turns out Eve’s anticipated new album Here I Am might not be scrapped after all. Thanks to hip-pop super producer Polow Da Don, the project is officially salvaged. Check out this bangin new Eve track featuring will.i.am. I’m excited this CD will finally see the light of day….

It turns out the wrong version of “Digital Girl” leaked online and it’s got Kanye a little pissed… here’s the official version, courtesy of ‘Ye himself:
New Music: Jamie Foxx Feat. Kanye West & The-Dream- “Digital Girl”
I was a huge fan of Def Jam recording artist The-Dream’s last album, LOVE/HATE. I still blast “Nikki,” “Playin’ In Her Hair,” and “Luv Songs” on a daily basis. A year and a half later, Terius “The-Dream” Nash is preparing to release his sophomore project, Love Vs. Money. While not much information has surfaced (aside from “Let Me See The Booty” featuring Lil’ Jon being confirmed as the first single), a slew of full tracks from the project have leaked online, and I thought I’d post them all here for you to get an idea of where Dream might be headed with this record.
The-Dream featuring Lil’ Jon- “Let Me See The Booty”
The-Dream- “Right Side Of Ya Brain” FAVORITE
The-Dream- “Rockin’ That Thing” FAVORITE
The-Dream- “So Real So Fake”
The-Dream- “Cringing”
I’m definitely loving “Right Side Of Ya Brain” and “Rockin That Thing.” The last two are a little too lame for me, and the first record (the single) is a little to busy for me. Plus I’m hating Lil’ Jon’s style. Sidenote: When the hell is Crunk Rock actually dropping?
