Following in the footsteps of “Tattoo,” which is currently in the top ten on Billboard’s Pop 100 singles list, Jordin Sparks’ second single “No Air,” a duet with labelmate Chris Brown, is already getting major radio support across the country.

Think you may have heard the name Really Doe before? Well, you probably have. He rolls with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. (Getting Out Our Dreams) crew. Sidenote: does this label still even exist under Columbia?
Kanye even rapped it in his “Diamonds” song:
“…In the studio with Really Doe / Yeah, he next up”
Like his mentor, Really Doe hails from Chicago, IL. Check out his new single below featuring Jennifer Hudson:

Put yourself in Mariah Carey’s shoes. You released arguably the most successful comeback album any artist has produced in history, which sold over 10 million copies worldwide and spawned multiple number one hits.
How do you follow up to such a successful project? It takes a lot of courage to get yourself back in the studio and record something even better than the critically-acclaimed The Emancipation of Mimi.
So what did MC do? She chose to call up one of the hottest songwriting/production teams out right now, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart to pen the album’s first single, “Touch My Body.”
And does it live up to our expectations? Not really.
Listen: Mariah Carey- “Touch My Body”
We’ve all come to love Mariah for her wide vocal range, so this limited, almost monotonous buzz single just doesn’t cut it for us. Maybe it will take a hundred more listens to grow on us, though.
In the meantime, let us know what you think of the song.
Mariah Carey’s forthcoming album, now titled E=MC2, hits stores April 15 on Island Records.
Yup…we guessed it right. Amy Winehouse took home–er, was overseas and thereby could not physically pick up–five Grammy awards. She won Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Kanye West took home 3 awards as well. More updates soon.
Album of the Year • Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, Foo Fighters
• These Days, Vince Gill
• River: The Joni Letters, Herbie Hancock • Graduation, Kanye West • Back to Black, Amy Winehouse
Side note: This was a tough decision. Kanye’s Graduation, while a masterpiece, was not nearly as good as his last two albums. And let’s face it: Winehouse, as much as we hate to admit it, redefined soul music this year with Back To Black. No one would follow her every trial and tribulation unless she was truly brilliant. Amy takes the cake. And please don’t call us out on some racism shit.
